GSP 1600 - Handheld Phone The Globalstar Handheld Phone is designed with the flexibility to meet the needs of customers who already depend on wireless communications, but find themselves in areas where cellular or radio coverage is either unavailable or inaccessible. The Globalstar Handheld phone is designed to complement existing fixed and cellular telephone networks by switching from terrestrial cellular telephony to satellite telephony as required. These features provide the Globalstar user the highest level of service and convenience.

 

GSP 1700 - Handheld Phone The Globalstar GSP-1700, the smallest and lightest Globalstar satellite phone, adds ergonomic design for even more user comfort and convenience. The antenna, when held in a vertical position, communicates with the constellation of Globalstar satellites. It also rotates and stows into the handset when not in use for more compact carrying. New features include ‘Ring while Stowed’ optional setting to receive call notification when the phone antenna is stowed and a newly designed display for excellent visibility in bright conditions. Weighing in at only 200g and measuring just 135mm x 55mm x 37mm*, the GSP-1700 is easy to travel with – no matter what the terrain or conditions. The antenna, when held in a vertical position, communicates with the Globalstar satellite at elevations more than 10 degrees above the horizon. It also rotates and stows into the handset when not in use for more compact carrying.

Remote Terminated Data gives customers an easy and convenient way to dial up to a remote site and monitor or reset equipment without deploying field service staff. FAU 200 - Fixed Phone The Globalstar FAU-200 Fixed Phone is the ideal cost-effective solution to access the coverage and reliability of satellite telephone service. High quality voice transmissions provide businesses, remote communities and dwellings with the necessary link to maintain connectivity to the existing telephone system. The FAU-200 supports up to three phone jacks on a single phone line and installation of the FAU-200 is quick and simple. The weatherproof unit can be mounted at any convenient outdoor location with a clear view of the sky delivering quality voice service inside buildings.
