Client Benefits
Historically the transportation industry has seen very low profit margins. Therefore, it is important to utilize technology when it can improve efficiencies, generate additional revenue, and improve your customer service.
Why choose LoadTrak™ solutions? LoadTrak solutions are hosted by SaskTel, a company with serving more than 1-million customers, with more than 90 years of experience in providing solutions to business. As a result there is no need for extensive network infrastructure or technical support on your part. Network maintenance is done through one of SaskTel's secure data centres to ensure a high level of data security and service reliability.
Because all LoadTrak solutions are web-based, our customers access their fleet information through the LoadTrak website. Simply access the LoadTrak website, enter your username and password, and all your fleet management data is accessible. You no longer need to be at your office to have visibility to your fleet.
What benefits will my company see?The benefits that orgainzations will experience from deploying a LoadTrak solution will vary between organizations. What are current customers saying:
- "this baby just earned her stripes" We have identified an internal theft problem within our fleet. By knowing exactly where our truck was, and for how long we have identified where our product was being off loaded and who was responsible for the theft.
- We can focus on running our business. With LoadTrak service, you don't need your own computer experts. Enhancements are made by the LoadTrak support people at the main server and everybody feeds off it.
- We send a lot of information about road closures, unsettled weather and fuel prices. We also send reload orders a day in advance. Drivers especially like it when we can help them save time and money.
- It’s another way of communicating and it’s very cost-effective. Our drivers used to have to call in between 7:00 and 10:00 every morning. Now they use the messaging feature. And of course, we’re able to locate trucks quickly if there’s a change of plans.
- Drivers don't have to hand write anything. We send them a message that serves as a written record. They get message acknowledgment— received and read — just like we do at dispatch, so everybody knows who's doing what and who's read the messages.
- We had a driver who was just north of Grand Forks, when he started to feel dizzy and pulled into a rest area. He was having a stroke. We used LoadTrak service’s satellite tracking to locate the truck, contacted EMS, within 10 min they were on-site.
