Performance Management Advisor (PMA) is an enhancement of the LoadTrak™ Satellite solution that provides value-added data reports with the focus on driver performance management. PMA captures information that is useful to you for safety monitoring and cost management.


What is Performance Management Advisor (PMA)?

An additional option of the LoadTrak™ solution, the PMA enhancement is a simple and effective tool that will help you manage driver performance, vehicle costs, and driver safety. Better manage your fleet by knowing the details of each vehicle’s trip.


How does it work?

PMA captures vehicle statistics (in both real-time and historical) from each driver’s vehicle and filters this information into easy-to-read reports — all easily accessible via the internet and your LoadTrak solution.

You will receive notification regarding violations of predetermined thresholds, as well as value-added reports summarizing the performance of individual drivers or entire fleets.

PMA takes data from your fleet and displays it in the following reports:

Fleet Summary Report

Shows a general view of how an entire fleet of vehicles is performing based on specified time periods. Includes Power Take Off

Fuel Economy Report

Displays detailed fuel economy statistics reports. These reports can be summarized by driver or by vehicle

Full Matrix Report

Demonstrates whether or not a vehicle is operating efficiently by recording the amount of time a specified mobile spent at each speed versus each RPM interval during a specified trip

Vehicle Events Report

Records detailed exception events that occurred on a specified vehicle over a specified period of time. Examples of event types: excess speed, hard braking, and idle time

Fuel Tax Reporting

Fuel Tax Reporting is a Vehicle Tracking feature that uses GPS and geofencing technology to effectively gather accurate information for fuel tax reporting. With Fuel Tax Reporting:

  • you'll significantly reduce the cost of calculating fuel tax by reducing or potentially eliminating outsourcing,
  • drivers no longer have to record odometer readings when they cross provincial or state boundaries,
  • manual recording errors are eliminated,
  • distance-travelled data is automatically recorded and logged by province and state and sent regularly to the LoadTrak Data Centre,
  • there is no waiting for driver's to return readings; you can view the data any time you need it, and
  • you can import the distance-travelled data directly into your existing fuel tax software program to simplify and accelerate reporting to the International Fuel Tax Association (IFTA).
